The Calumet Heritage Partnership held its 2020 annual meeting on Thurday January 23rd at Steve's Lounge in Hegwisch Chicago. Outgoing president, Michael Longan presented his annual Presidents Report to the Membership of the Calumet Heritage Partnership entitled Being a Heritage Area. He expressed thanks for all the hard work of CHP's members, contributors, volunteers, and partners over the past year and during the three years of his presidency.

The membership approved significant revisions to the organization's bylaws and the 2020 board of directors was elected. Karen Brozynski was elected president of the board, Kevin Brown was elected Vice President Illinois and Kathy Tobin was elected Secretary. Gary Johnson will continue as Vice President, Indiana and David Klein will continue as Treasurer. The board welcomes two new members including Brad Miller and Kirsten Markusic.

Brad Miller presented the program for the evening, unveiling the partnership's inagural 2020 Calumet's Most Endangered List. Finally folks in attendance were the first to learn the details for the first Calumet Photo Contest. Newly elected president Borzynski bought pizza for all of the attendees. Thank you to everyone who attended and made this a sucessful celebration of CHP's accomplishments over the past year!
