This year’s conference is in two parts

1. Public Meetings to Comment on Calumet National Heritage Area Feasibility Study
At the 15th annual Calumet Heritage Conference, we announced that the Calumet Heritage Partnership initiated a feasibility study to designate the bi-state region as a Calumet National Heritage Area. We have taken up that effort with gusto! At this year’s conference, join us for one of four public comment meetings where we will present key sections of the feasibility study: the themes and sites that tell a nationally significant story of the region, the boundary that encompasses them, and the goals and priorities for the region’s future.

The public meetings have NO REGISTRATION FEE – but let us know you are coming as it helps determine staffing, refreshments, and material needs. Please note that the same information will be presented at all meeting locations.
